Nathan Clarke began his artistic journey in his hometown in Australia, where a deep passion for dance and music quickly propelled him into the spotlight as a sought-after professional dancer. As his creative voice evolved, so did his reputation—as both a choreographer and creative director—gaining recognition from peers and industry leaders alike. Today, Nathan is regarded as one of the most respected and visionary creative forces in the entertainment industry.
Renowned for his innovative approach to televised performances, Nathan’s work has been featured on nearly every major light entertainment show across the UK and Europe. He served as Creative Director and Choreographer for The Voice UK over four consecutive seasons, with additional high-profile credits including Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing on Ice, The Greatest Dancer, Let It Shine, and X Factor Italia.
His flair for large-scale live productions is equally impressive. Nathan was Associate Director and Lead Choreographer for both the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Closing Ceremonies, crafting unforgettable performances for global icons such as Rihanna, Coldplay, Jay-Z, Annie Lennox, Jessie J, The Spice Girls, Queen, One Direction, Fatboy Slim, Kate Moss, and Naomi Campbell.
An innovator in ice choreography, Nathan has carved a unique niche by blending contemporary commercial dance with the artistry of skating. His pioneering work has made him one of Europe’s most sought-after ice choreographers, with acclaimed collaborations including Torvill & Dean, Opera on Ice, ITV’s Dancing on Ice, Paddington on Ice, and numerous resident and touring productions across the continent. He has also created six consecutive shows for Intimissimi’s Ice Fashion Series, working alongside some of the world’s leading opera and ice show directors.
Nathan's creativity has also made waves in the music industry. After collaborating with MTV Europe on standout EMA performances, he went on to choreograph and direct tours and stage shows for an impressive roster of global artists, including Take That, Robbie Williams, Zara Larsson, Steps, Bananarama, Laura Mvula, Kodaline, Rita Ora, will.i.am, Kylie Minogue, Paloma Faith, and Olly Murs.
In recent years, Nathan has brought his signature touch to luxury theatrical and branded productions, creating shows for BVLGARI in Asia and Italy, helming choreography for The Firedance Live Tour 2020, and currently overseeing nine shows aboard Costa Cruises. He is also on his third production for the prestigious Casino Barrière in France.
